Here
are the results of the survey in which you recently participated. I
appreciate the input each of you provided and especially appreciate
the many people that took the extra time to provide narrative
comments, as well. In our next survey, we will request permission
from each respondent to publish his/her comments so that they can be
included in future results.

Here are some tips to help you interpret the data:
- The percentage figure shows the percentage of respondents that
assigned the indicated rating to each issue. So, for example, 75%
of respondents consider National Defense to be a "Critical
National Policy Issue".
- The number next to the percentage indicates how many responses
were received in that category. In the example above, 101
respondents consider National Defense to be a "Critical National
Policy Issue".
- "Response Average" is a weighted average, calculated by
assigning a value of 1 to Less Important; 2 to Somewhat Important;
3 to Critical.
- I have highlighted in yellow the issues that respondents
considered the most important issues for the 14th district's
Congressman to address. I agree that these are very important
issues and will be sharing my thoughts with you on each of these
issues in upcoming newsletters.
