New York State government is in shambles and only strong fiscally conservative policies can set things straight.
That is precisely what I will bring to the Empire State — the same revitalization and sustainability I introduced in Lynbrook.
First and foremost we must:
Stop the runaway spending and taxing.
In a time when we are all asked — and expected — to make do with far less, government continues to take more and more. We can no longer serve as Albany\'s personal debit card. I will see to it that excessive taxation and spending come to an end.
Create a thriving economy that will create jobs
Only in an environment conducive to entrepreneurship can there be any real sustainable job growth. We must encourage the private sector to hire new employees with targeted tax incentives that will necessarily give employers the confidence to hire, expand and invest. This is a sure path to jumpstarting the economy.
Return our state to excellence
In Albany, I can apply lessons learned in Lynbrook for the good of the entire state. It’s time to get things done for all the people of New York.
Since 2007, I have witnessed first hand the positive effects of strong fiscally conservative policies in and for Lynbrook. I’m confident that same mindset is what’s missing in Albany today.
