in the Persian Gulf War just five days after winning re-election
to the State Assembly
1990—Jim's
wife, Dawn Gibbons, is sworn in to fill her husband's
State Assembly position while he serves in the Gulf War

Gibbons carries the Nevada State Flag onboard his F-4
fighter jet during the Gulf War. Flag was later donated
to the Nevada State Legislature
