Meet our founders:
Diane Thompson, President
Prior to co-founding Red State New Media, Diane built a 20+ year career as a marketing and sales executive for high tech companies such as Intel, Sun Microsystems and Borland. Additionally, she founded an independent marketing and sales company that built new revenue sources for a variety of technology companies, both large and small. Diane holds a BA in Political Science and a BA in Economics, both from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an MBA from Santa Clara University. Diane is active in local Republican politics and was selected as member of the California Delegation to the 2004 National Republican Convention.
Jan began her career as a teacher and later entered the business world, where she built a successful 20+ year career as an award winning marketing executive for technology companies such as Qume, Borland and Placeware. She is a true pioneer in Internet marketing, having had the inaugural role of Director of Internet Marketing for Placeware (now a division of Microsoft), a leader in web conferencing. Jan holds a BA in Social Science, from San Jose State University. Jan Soule is active in local Republican organizations, serving as President for the Silicon Valley Association of Republican Women and selected as a California Delegate to the 2004 National Republican Convention.
